NJ TRANSIT has announced enhanced accessibility and convenience for seniors aged 62 and above and travelers with disabilities at Newark Liberty International Airport.

Convenient Train Service

At least six NJ TRANSIT trains stop every hour at the Newark Liberty International Airport Station between 6 am and 9 pm. Between 9 pm and 4 am, four trains stop every hour, ensuring frequent and reliable rail service.

Free AirTrain Shuttle

Passengers can seamlessly connect to their airport terminal via the AirTrain, a free shuttle service that operates 24/7. The AirTrain connects to all terminals, parking, rental car facilities, and hotel services.

Easy Access to Penn Station

For travelers heading to New York City, the AirTrain provides direct access to the nearby Newark Airport train station. From there, passengers can take an NJ Transit train to Penn Station, offering a convenient and cost-effective option for airport transportation.
